Smart Lockers: The new curbside service!

Request an item, wait for a text/email alert, and pick up your items at your convenience using our Smart Locker system.

Requesting Items:

You will need your library card number and PIN to place holds. To place items on hold, access the Library’s online catalog at www.jeffcolib.org or click on the library logo on the top left to return to the homepage. Enter your search in the top right corner. Choose your library's Smart Lockers as the pickup location. Items may also be placed on hold by calling the specific pickup branch at least twenty-four hours in advance.

(Please note that some items may not be available for locker pickup. Size, temperature sensitivity, etc, may require an indoor or curbside pickup during open hours instead.)

Wait for a text/email alert:

You'll receive a text/email alert when your item has been loaded into the locker. This message will include a 5-digit QR code to access your locker.

Arriving for Pick Up:

You can then pick up your item at the lockers anytime during the next five business days. To pick up, either scan the QR code at the locker or manually type in the 5 digit code. The tablet and scanner are located under the fabric flap on the front of the lockers.

The door to your assigned locker(s) pop open once the code is entered, and you can take your item!

Returning Items:

Please place any returned materials in the library bookdrops.

You may receive a notice with the due date, depending on the preferences set on your account. We also include a printed copy of the date due slip with the item.
