Curbside pickup of up to ten items is available at all JCL locations during the designated pickup hours listed below. We will notify you when your items are ready. Please wait for notification before going to the branch to pick up your items.
Pickup Hours (No Appointment Necessary):
To place items on hold, access the Library’s online catalog at www.jeffcolib.org or click on the library logo on the top left to return to the homepage. Enter your search in the top right corner. You will need your library card number and PIN to place holds. Items may also be placed on hold by calling the specific pickup branch at least twenty-four hours in advance. We will notify you when your items are ready. Please wait for notification before going to the branch to pick up your items.
Arriving for Pick Up:
When you arrive at the pickup branch, call the corresponding phone number below and provide your name and library card number.

The phone number will also be posted at the front entrance of the branch. JCL staff will check your items out on your library account and carry them out to the designated area at the front entrance. NOTE: Checkout periods have returned to normal although we will continue to waive fines until the buildings are open. Please check your receipt or your account for specific due dates.
Please place any returned materials in the library bookdrops. These items will not be checked in and removed from your account until they have been quarantined and cleaned. Please allow one week for returned items to be removed from your account.
Safety: All staff members working curbside utilize personal protective equipment necessary to keep themselves, other staff, and the public safe. All employees wear face coverings according to CDC guidelines, and the library asks that library customers observe social distancing best practices.
