- Manage a book shop within the Library; sale of book bags, and local interest books.

- Purchase of prizes and gifts for children's summer and adult reading programs; purchase of materials for the genealogy/local history section; payment of presenter fees for programs; and sponsoring of adult programs such as author signings and humanities programs.
