PART-TIME REFERENCE SENIOR CLERK I at our Arnold Branch, 28 hours per week  (Monday through Saturday)

Flexible schedule, includes days, evenings & some Saturdays. Application period extended to 2/10/2018. 

JOB DESCRIPTION: Performs general reference duties and public computer assistance; assists with collection maintenance; eligible to become passport acceptance agent and notary public; assists with adult programming.

REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED equivalent, plus a minimum of 60 college credit hours or four years of related experience in a library setting with progressively increasing job responsibilities. Ability to carry 15 lb. loads over 100 feet.  Ability to push a loaded book cart (approximately 50 lbs) a distance of 25 feet without stopping.  Must pass criminal records check.

Clerical positions: JCL continually accepts applications for a pool of clerical positions. The starting wage for a Clerk I position is $9.25 per hour. Customer service or library experience preferred. Minimum qualifications for a Clerk are a high school diploma or equivalent.
